I've constantly been getting an error message when I connect to the multiplayer menu saying "Connection to EA Online has been lost"
I logged into another account and it connected fine, but my own account keeps getting this error. It started about 2 days after the BF1943 release.

All I've done before this was log into my account at the BF1943 site (which didn't work), and since then I've been getting this error for BFBC so I think it might be related. Also, I started playing 1943 AFTER I started getting the error, I've been getting the error before I had even downloaded 1943.

BF1943 has always worked fine. Other PSN accounts work on BFBC. Only my account won't connect to BFBC.

I've talked to EA and they don't know what's wrong either.

Anyone else getting this error? if so let me know and I'll pass your PSN IDs onto EA and maybe they'll find the problem if they can compare PSN accounts with the same problem.

I have exactly the same problem - however I only recently bought Bad Company, I didn't like the demo when I tried it ages ago, but then tried b1943 when it came out and enjoyed the multiplayer enough to warrant buying bad company - 1943 works fine pretty much all the time (it's been a bit laggy once but still lets me log on and play) bad company however has let me play about twice, it hasn't let me log in at all for about four days now. I have the same error messages as you described - the fact that it does work occasionally suggests it's a problem with the servers, not a problem at our end I guess.

I hope this gets sorted out.

still talking to EA about it, they're still trying to figure it out, even had to give them my login details.

one solution they mentioned was to download the LOTR Conquest demo and play a game online, that would relink the EA account.

Post your PSN ID so I can pass it onto them so they can compare our accounts.

FIXED IT! EA finally figured it out.. I have too many people on my friends list! So I deleted 10 friends which took me down to 30 and now it works! they said the friends list tries to load while it's connecting to EA.

note: this is for PS3.
