Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has more thrill than MW2 and Halo
There is one thing missing in Modern Warfare 2 and the Halo Series, which is not in Battlefield: Bad Company 2. It is the thrill that one gets in BBC2.
In Modern Warfare 2 and Halo Series, gamers know that the building keeping them isn’t indestructible. It is only in BBC2.
Just think. If there is a stray shot of tank or there is a jerk from a grenade launcher, the shelter tumbles down on top of the player.
Bad Company 2 has improved a lot and also on everything that was in the first game. The graphics has improved and the level of destruction too. In it players can also raze entire towns and not only destroy small buildings and walls. Gamers can collapse everything into a pile of rubble.
Battlefield Bad Company 2 “Onslaught” mode released
Battlefield Bad Company 2 “Onslaught” mode has been finally released by Electronic Arts on PSN and Xbox Live for 800 MSP or $10.
Onslaught mode of BBC2 is a new co-op mode that is just like the “Special Ops” mode of Modern Warfare 2. Recently it was rumored that Onslaught mode will be released for free as the free map releases.
The Onslaught mode will give the players more bang for the buck than what the five maps of Modern Warfare 2 did at $15.
One more DLC pack is to come for BBC 2 as it has been announced earlier. This will be a Vietnam pack and it will be released by winter this year. This pack will be a multiplayer-only pack having new weapons, vehicles, maps and other unlocks.
BBC2 completes 5 million players
We all know that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is a new rival to Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 2. Now the online player-base of this new game is growing in followers day-by-day. The recent data reveals that the fans base online of BBC2 has exceed 5 million. Isn’t it a great good news for all the fans considering the competition that it has faced from MW2.
A new co-op mode for Bad Company 2 had been recently announced by DICE. It is dubbed as ‘Onslaught’ and will be allowing to link 3 players together while facing enemies at the Atacama Desert, the Valparaiso, Isla Inocentes and also at the Nelson Bay.
There are questions raised also to this. Fans ask whether the new mode of the game will be a rival to the ‘Stimulus’ package of MW2 that was also released recently. Fans also ask whether overall online players count will still flourish.

BBC2 maps not charged extra
We have seen that Activision has been charging $15 for 5-map Modern Warfare 2 DLC package. Developer DICE is sounding different campaign. They are saying that they won’t charge anything for extra maps of the Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Not only this, the company has also “insisted” Electronic Arts that the publisher doesn’t add fees for customers.

Previously it was stated by DICE that it does not want to “nickel-and-dime” the customers for the DLC. Speaking to the Xbox World 360 Magazine, the company says, “We don’t ever want to charge for our maps and insisted to EA that this attitude was crucial.”
However, developer DICE did not say anything about charging for other content like the “expanding other parts of the game experience rather than the selection of maps.”
The second map pack of BBC2 was released recently and there was no extra cost tagged. Along with it was also released the DLC of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package and it was tagged for $15.
DICE announces free downloadable map packs for BBC2
Infinity Ward promised recently that a new Downloadable Content pack will be offered through a viral campaign for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Just few days after this announcement, DICE Studio, the rival of IW, mocked this campaign of the MW2 developer and had disclosed some details about downloadable map packs for the Battlefields: Bad Company 2.

The viral campaign ‘mapathy’ of IW for the MW2’s DLC is called the “Stimulus Package” and it is said to contain ten new maps. Well, still there is no official confirmation.
However, it is learned that this DLC would be made available on March 30 for the Xbox 360. The PS3 and PC owners will be getting it some time later.
Few days before there was an announcement from Activision that the dedicated MW2 servers for the PC users will be pulled out and it will be used for the Infinity Ward Net infrastructure. It is in fact done to support the multiplayer matches.
This announcement of IW have moved many gamers to switch on to the Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
The DICE Studio, in the official Battlefield: BC2 blog, has slammed the ‘Mapathy’ campaign of Activision and it has also announced that the BBC2 DLC pack would be available for free.
The name ‘Battlefield’ itself has strength in BBC2 says PC version producer
The PC beta version of Bad Company 2 for shooter fans has been one of the larger time sinks in recent years. The code of it is slightly rough in it and the games and mechanics are polished. If played with a good group of players then it is tight. In the game if one hides inside a building, the mortar rounds can take it down. In the game if you are able see enemy creeping towards any objective then call him out to the team mates of yours and let your friends hunt him down.

One question hunts to every PC gamers. It is that will this game be better than Modern Warfare 2, which was a blockbuster released on November 4 last year.
According to Anders Gyllenberg, producer of BBC2 PC version, this game can be defined by its differences from MW2. Gyllenberg was confident of the strength the name itself, Battlefield. He said, “For us it wasn’t any discussions regarding if one studio does this then we have to do that. What we offer with Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is the same base experience as we have offered all the way back since Battlefield 1942,.
Gyllenberg sees the sandbox mix design and also land, sea and air vehicles as the key to the franchise.
He added, “Combined with the focus on squad play, we believe we have our recipe for our own success. The server structure, which I assume you are thinking of, is only one of the components in what we feel is needed to offer a good PC experience.”

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is on the way to its release date. It is going to hit the stores in March.
This news is for those fans of Bad Company who didn’t get a chance to try the PlayStation 3 exclusive beta of the game. That was a huge success and the biggest game retailer of UK has indicated a demo of it on the horizon.
The UK Retailer GAME has now made a list of playable demos and that will be accessible on the PSN and XBL. The demo of the game will be running for 3 weeks from February 4.
According to a recent post from the Official blog of Battlefield, it is learned that there is a good chance a demo is on the way.

Many believes that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 may crush Modern Warfare 2 in all aspects. Well, let us wait till March 2 in North America and March 5 in Europe.
EA takes over “Modern warfare 2”
EA is well known for its quality products that are released every year. This time EA has a competitor who challenges on the “Battlefield: Bad Company 2” with “Call of Duty”. CEO John Riccitiello of EA says that he will take the leadership position in FPS and is ready to take the challenge with “Call of Duty”.

EA’s Vice President Uwe said that “Battlefield: Bad company 2” is going to be a strong attack on the “Call of Duty” and will not leave their top position in the industry and will not give up their number 1 position in the industry very soon. He also said that “Battlefield” and “Medal of honor” are franchise to Battlefield. In an interview Uwe said “If any of our studios can take on ‘Modern Warfare ’then its DICE”.
He also said “Reviving “Battlefield” brand and positioning their games to achieve MW is a long term goal”. This clearly echoes the statements of Riccitiello.
‘Battlefield: Bad Company 2′ beta promises impressive online experience
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 from developer Electronic Arts is paving a way to give a solid run for money to the blockbuster of Activision, Modern Warfare 2.
According to one of the gamers who played the beta version of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 recently, the game is a blast, figuratively and literally.
The beta version of the “Bad Company 2″ offers a glimpse of what the developer promises. The actual game is to be a rich online multiplayer experience that will put the spotlight on its exciting “rush” mode.
In the “Arica Harbor,” somewhat twenty-four players battle for the control of a dusty South American port town.
This new game is suppose to be the attackers’ job to move sequentially through 5 points on the map by blowing the defenders’ “m-com” stations away as they move ahead.
If all the 10 of the crates are destroyed then they win. If not then the defenders can reduce the attackers’ 100 lives, or tickets, to nil, they prevail.
The players get 4 classes from where they can choose. The assault class, the engineers, medics and the recon class.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 not bad trailer
First person shooter Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is not looking bad at all but I think we have turned into oblivion due to all the hype of Modern Warfare 2. Well, here is a trailer of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 that has been released by Electronic Arts (EA) and studio DICE.
This is the first series of the video showcasing the multiplayer mode. After seeing the video footage it seems as if the multiplayer will be following the Call of Duty 4 model and it will be focusing heavily on the leveling up players’ soldier’s skills and stats and that too with much of destructibility.
According to DICE the multiplayer matches will be more of objective based and also more of progressive if we compare it to the first game.
Have a look to the below trailer and believe me, it is breath-taking.
