According to the latest blog post of Electronic Arts (EA), the company is focussing on few changes in the game to make it Vietnam compliant. Most of the existing tools of BBC2 still function the same way, but they are reskinned to make it more accurate to the era. Now, games will not only get the tech gadgets such as the blocks of C4, but they will also have bundles of dynamite. This time, the vehicle repair tool is like a blow torch and adrenaline syringes are the defibrillators.
This time players won’t be able to use motion sensor of high tech. Tracer dart is not there and there is also no more spotting assistance in it. Well, for improving the navigation, DICE has now added a compass in the game that integrates with the minimap.

Gamers can expect much more destructible terrain from this new series of Battlefield and also some better tools to support more user-mods on the PC.
What actually the gamers want from BF3?
Basically speaking, the gamers want a good blend of Battlefield 2 and Bad Company 2. They want the destruction and aesthetics of BBC2 along with the scale and scope of BF2.
Bad Company’s Onslaught Mode may not come on PC
Onslaught mode is not confirmed for PC platform for Bad Company 2. DICE neglected it for the four-player co-operative.
DICE said that the onslaught mode would negatively impact the community population becuase the game has a dedicated servers for all the platforms.
Well, there are some ways out of it. DICE has found some way, but it is still not clear whether this is through P2P networking or else of some alternate system that involve the dedicated servers.
It is also not clear whether the content will be free for the PC platform or not. We have to wait and watch.
Four multiplayer maps have been reworked for the new mode — Valparaiso, Atacama Desert, Isla Inocentes, and Nelson Bay. Each of these mode will focus on different gameplay elements such as vahicular or infantry combat.

We all know that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is a new rival to Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 2. Now the online player-base of this new game is growing in followers day-by-day. The recent data reveals that the fans base online of BBC2 has exceed 5 million. Isn’t it a great good news for all the fans considering the competition that it has faced from MW2.
A new co-op mode for Bad Company 2 had been recently announced by DICE. It is dubbed as ‘Onslaught’ and will be allowing to link 3 players together while facing enemies at the Atacama Desert, the Valparaiso, Isla Inocentes and also at the Nelson Bay.

BBC2 maps not charged extra
We have seen that Activision has been charging $15 for 5-map Modern Warfare 2 DLC package. Developer DICE is sounding different campaign. They are saying that they won’t charge anything for extra maps of the Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Not only this, the company has also “insisted” Electronic Arts that the publisher doesn’t add fees for customers.

Previously it was stated by DICE that it does not want to “nickel-and-dime” the customers for the DLC. Speaking to the Xbox World 360 Magazine, the company says, “We don’t ever want to charge for our maps and insisted to EA that this attitude was crucial.”
However, developer DICE did not say anything about charging for other content like the “expanding other parts of the game experience rather than the selection of maps.”
The second map pack of BBC2 was released recently and there was no extra cost tagged. Along with it was also released the DLC of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package and it was tagged for $15.

However, it is learned that this DLC would be made available on March 30 for the Xbox 360. The PS3 and PC owners will be getting it some time later.
Few days before there was an announcement from Activision that the dedicated MW2 servers for the PC users will be pulled out and it will be used for the Infinity Ward Net infrastructure. It is in fact done to support the multiplayer matches.
This announcement of IW have moved many gamers to switch on to the Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
