EA bringing Battlefield Play4Free beta Nov 30

Electroic Arts may also launch in near future a second free-to-play game and it will be based on Battlefield. It is titled Battlefield Play4Free and will be containing the Battlefield 2 most popular maps and also powerful weapons of the game.

Battlefield Play4Free will have vehicular combat and at a certain time 32 people can play online. Gamers will earn game currency after gaining experience to purchase weapons and other equipment.

Electronic Arts launched, last year, Battlefield Heroes. Presently, it has about six million registered players. In the free-to-play model, the publisher allows gamers to take part in the matches for free and it also offers the players the option of making small purchases like outfits or bonus experience.

The publisher says that Battlefield Play4Free is for serious shooter fans who seeks for a premium, but without any charges. Gamers will experience in it the rivals top console titles.

On November 30, EA will start the beta version of Battlefield Play4Free. The game will be launched next spring.

Finally launched Battlefield Heroes

EA has now officially confirmed about the soft launch of the Battlefield Heroes. It means that the publisher is considering this game to be feature complete and at the same time there will be no critical changes made to the gameplay mechanics.

This game has been in development for quite some time. Earlier version was also enjoyable. EA is trying to keep offering content for this title through regular updates and also getting money from the project via microtransactions.

This game is easy to download and also to easy to play. It is accessible to all players, whether they are experienced with shooter and online titles or not. The visuals of the game are also stylized.
In the game there are also customizable classes, which will allow players to take on various roles in a team, and vehicles to use, from planes to tanks.

Battlefield Heroes Beta

The team of Battlefield Heroes is seen to be really excited in announcing that the number of signups for their upcoming Beta phase had reached more than one lakh and three thousand. That too only in fifteen days. This means that there are close to seven thousand signups in a day, close to three hundred signups in one hour. Sounds something great for the Heroes team.

The Beta has started on 11 Feb. Those who have a Beta key from the earlier phase need not to sign up again. New mails has also been sent to all the signups with guidelines and instructions about the Battlefield Heroes.

Beta is the pre-version of a launch. Before launching it to open public a Beta version is launched to check whether every thing is going fine with the game. It is something like a rehearsal for the launch.

6th of May EA and DICE, the Swedish counterparts, released the closed beta of Battlefield Heroes. The closed beta feedback also included information that were concerning about how RAM Hungry the game was. It also welcomed reports of various bugs and faults.

Now the EA is claiming that they have fixed the problem related to further beta releases. They will be releasing the open beta very soon.

The first scandal was when the server crashed while people tried to obtain a select number of closed beta keys. As an aftermath the players had to solve the riddles to obtain keys. Disputes erupted over the riddles release times. The website managers failed to open up to the fans waiting for the information on the website.

However, it is a good sign of bad publicity that too many players rushed to get closed beta keys. This proves to be the future success of the game.

Many are expecting the release within the next 3-4 months and always checking the official website for any sign of release dates.
