For Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Electronic Arts have been silent for sometime. The details, though little, of Bad Company 2 Vietnam was last said by EA at the E3 press conference about three months before. Battlefield community manager said in the conference that things are going to change when the multiplayer expansion will be presented for the first time. He posted it on the Battlefield blog that he will be presenting the game for the first time by himself.

Moreover, the manager recapitulated some of the original features about the BBC2:

4 of its maps are built in Frostbite. There are some specific Vietnam features like the vehicles and the weapons. There are also some unlockable content and also achievements will be available.

EA will be seen in Tokyo next weekend to showcase the new series of the Battlefield game.

Onslaught may be tough for seasoned players

The Onslaught map pack of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has been designed to ease new players in the tough environment. This map pack is a good boot camp to those who know the game beyond the inside.

It works brilliantly in tipping back a bottle of concrete apart from hardening up before hitting the lobbies.

Gamers can flick features from Easy, Normal, Hard and Hardcore. Well, the seasoned players may find struggling. The only way to lose totally is that if everyone dies and this is almost impossible if we consider the respawn rate.

The fact in this new map pack is that the objectives are timed as the challenges are tough as one makes it. Every second with the score gamers may learn what is needed to be done and how it has to be done.

Overall impact of Battlefield: Bad Company is great

February 12, 2010 · Filed Under battlefield bad company · Comment

A field of battle where there is no room for heroism or patriotism, but where only the strongest does not pull the bucket, where only those who have replaced God with trivial material land is respected.

Here are the premises of Battlefield: Bad Company, sequel to a saga that, in its small, has made the history of first-person shooter.

The plot itself does not offer some kind of innovation, although right from the opening bars, Bad Company decides to “disconnect” from their duty and follow a path that will lead them to battle against friends and foes.

On the technical side, we are facing what is perhaps one of the greatest bulwarks of next-generation. Maybe some textures can be a bit flat, but it flies over easily when we have before us a field so vast and so realistic physics.

The overall impact is great, the models of realistic characters and the feeling of being in a world alive and pulsating high. The overall impact is great, the models of realistic characters and the feeling of being in a world alive and pulsating high and even the shadow of aliasing, as annoying drop the frame-rate.

More people can play Battlefield: Bad Company 2

January 31, 2010 · Filed Under DEMO · 2 Comments

If you’re a huge Bad Company 2 fan you’ll be happy with the news that the new mode for Bad Company 2 is out. Now you can finally start playing Battlefield: Bad company 2 with multiple players. The Electronic Arts studio DICE released his multiplayer mode for the game. The new edition of Bad Company 2 brings you a even bigger adrenaline rush with a different game style and while playing with numerous people online.

The multiplayer beta feature of the game will include the Arica Harbour map where about 24 players can battle all over the world. The new version of the game does not have a lot of access to vehicles like the previous one did. There are not a lot of scene’s with tanks or jeeps. Although the game does start with vehicle combat in the intro and the first part it turns over to infantry fight close to the middle of the game.

All the Bad company boys are back for the game, they are near the Russian borders, an icy mountain region. The game starts on an open field and first to the village streets. The change of scenery, the intensity and the action of the game gives Bad Company 2 a very powerful experience. The entrance into this game is kind of quiet but thanks to the full audio the rest of the game is intense. After the fight in the village the soldiers head to the industrial area where they will try to take over the Arica Harbour, and the fights and special effects are right on tune .

The moment the Bad Company soldiers reach the village the game goes into overdrive, snow blowing through the air, choppers being blasted out of the sky and enemy soldiers popping out from behind buildings, vehicles etc. The two squads with each 4 players will have to fight for the control of two key tactical points on the military base. There is more emotional excitement in this game because you’ll have to fight without vehicles. In the previous game players had limitless option to attack, now there are more realistic options giving a more accurate image of the real thing.

The demo of the game gained a lot of positive reactions from Bad Company fans. Fans were positively surprised with the adjustments in the game. Video’s of the rush squad were placed on the official website showing shots of the game. Due to the level of violence the material is only for mature audience. The mode can be downloaded by all Bad Company 2 fans. Before that only players who Ordered Bad Company 2 for play station of Xbox 360 at Gamestop can enjoy the new mode. Now everyone can download the game for free, it’s about 912MB in size.
