Xbox 360 Connection Issues for BFBC?

Seems many people are having issues connection to 360 when playing Battlefield Bad Company. Players are reporting the error “Failed to connect to EA online”.
To their credit, EA has acknowledged the issue but I can only imagine that offers little relief to the 360 users out there who are unable to play BFBC.
“We’ve been monitoring stats non-stop and are working with several partners to locate any possible flashpoints and eradicate any hostiles we encounter.”
I’m not sure if the corny battlefield talk when addressing the issue should be comforting or worrisome for the people experiencing the connection issues.

anyone found a work around yet?
this is ridiculous. they need to fix this quick.
For the first 5 days I could not play online at all. My router was set to DMZ host, my NAT was open, all ports were open, I had power cycled both router and modem, nothing worked. I also had no problems playing any other games online.
The 6th day my connection still failed so I unplugged my router for around 4 - 5 hours, connected it, and I was able to play online right away.
Since then I’ve had to sporadically choose the Multiplayer option multiple times to connect to EA Online but I have had next to no laggy matches and I’ve never been booted from a game due o connection loss.
Stared off the first 3 days connecting fine and as of July 6th 7ish I have been unable to connect.Whats the deal?
ive been playing the demo for the last few days and had no major issues then as of today (the 6th) it wont connect to ea online at all. i restarted my router and everything, still nothing.
This suck a** I have had no connection problems tell today and that would be all day I’m so fu**in pissed what’s with EA they have crap servers I have read alot of complaints today.
So did anyone elses stats get whiped out? I was way up there in rank, had just about everything unlocked. Then the server went out, I couldn’t get on for at least a half hour. When I was finally able to get back online I found that I was a private again, and everything was gone. What the f**k?
What is wrong with EA and their Sh*ty servers? I want to know were the FU*K have all my stats gone?? now the game works and nobody has a rank and the leader boards are screwed.

I lost all my ranks and unlocks too :s. I really hope it ain’t permanent cuz it really REALLY sucks to start from beginning, EA screwed big time.
yeah its an ea game lag lag lag i watched a guy run away from me shot him in the back 3 times with a shotgun close range n he turns around n sprays me with a m16 i die so i traded the game in worst game i ever bought i think sonic is better that this shit battlefield you guys need to split up some of this server traffic cause these french fucks lag to bad y do they do stupid shit like that will NEVER OWN ANOTHER EA GAME AGAIN IT BS TO HAVE TO PAY MONEY TO ONLINE GAME AND YOU CANT PLAY AT LEAST PS3 IS FREE N WAY BETTER THAT THE RED RING OF DEATH SORRY ITS JUST HOW I FEEL
I’ve experienced LOTS of lag games. Most of the time i can just exit that game and come back into a new one and it fixes itself. As far as the connection problem I’ve had some of the same issues with it failing to connect to EA online. I didnt lose any of my stats or weapons once it reconnected though. I re-downloaded the demo and it let me log back into to full game with no problems. May have just been a fluke though. I remember having similar problems with Battlefield 2: Modern Combat too though, so for me its really nothing new. I agree EA needs to get their stuff together or i will just go back to playing Call of Duty 4 and call it a day until they get this problem fixed.

I lost even my Gold Edition upgrades. All 5 guns your get with the Gold Edition, even though they suck, are also gone. More than likely its update time. Maybe well finally get conquest mode. But this sucks.

Man i got the game yesterday for my birthday, so i thought lets do the campaign first, i did it on normal so then i tryed online it wont let me on!!. I convinced my mate to buy it today and hes online atm its not fair anyone know if it does just take 5 dyas before it works or does it never work? Also on the online demo i played that non-stop i was 10 points or something of the levek 4 but it got wiped anyone know how to get my rank back cause i wont tht special gun for the original? I have had the game for about a week, no complaints running along nicley, a god send in fact as I am on the sick recovering from a bone cancer operation. This morning I got “cannot connect to EA online”! Whats all this about I thought. Read on one blog to turn off your console for 20 mins and try again, (all sounds a bit 90’s to me) so I gave it a go anyway and nothing. Rainbow Six 2 Vegas it is then!
Havent had anymore problems getting in. Just super lag now that conquest mode has been added. I’m glad that we got conquest back though. It’s a much more fun game mode than gold rush. Now if they can just handle the lag issues then i will be happy.
Online game worked perfrect until conquest mode arrived, EA were bragging about all the new players that would be online, great i thought lots more people to take out with my silenced sniper rifle, now i struggle getting through doors and stairs and ladders are a no no, now im sounding like an old age pensioner not a trained sniper, what next EA are you going to fit my xbox with a colostomy bag and take out its varicase vains? Get it sorted for all our sakes.

Got on this morning. HORRIBLE fuc#ing lag. However, I was able to squeeze off 37 head shots on one game. Mostly because of lag, but it’s not fair. In the lag, they sit still I pop off a head shot and they die. Don’t even get me started on trying to climb a F#$King ladder! They need to fix this crap SOON. Or again, like other folks, I’ll dump my money into a PS3 where it’s free (hopefuly still is O.o)
EA really need to get this lagging problem sorted asap. It’s rediculous and frustrating. Ladders, stairs and doorways are a nightmare! EA, get it sorted!
I have played BFBC for months without an issue until 4 weeks ago, I now get ‘failed to connect to EA online’ every time I try to login. I can login on a mates console but not on mine…. anyone know whats going on?
F+CK EA, i played BF-BC until microsoft update the servers the last month. Now i can play ANYTHING LIVE (Ghost becon 2), but battlefield always say failed to connect to EA Online, i had the demo and i was going to buy the game, but now i´m not sure if i buy this game works in live. Anyone has found a solution?.

Absolutely freakin absurd. XBOX live works perfectly, but I cannot connect to EA servers. Any fix to this at all?!
I guess reading all these blogs over the course off a year after the game has come has come out … no one intends to fix the prob….been a week since i’ve been able to play..it suks..i enjoy the game… I WAS looking forward to BFBC2…but not so much anymore…please fix prob..or i guess no more ea for me…been a fan 4 a long time now…wont deal with this anymore…
I just bought an xbox 360 and I LOVE the 1942 series for PC… so naturally I downloaded the demo for 1943 for the XBOX360 and I’m getting this ‘Can’t connect to EA online’, no matter how many times I try.
I would like to buy the game, but that seems pretty stupid considering I can’t even connect to the demo!
To be honest, I have marked on my calender the last day that I can return my xbox… we’ll see what happens.

Hi Guys I am using a PS3 and I bought Battlefield as a download file am I cannot stay on a game.Every couple of minutes i lose connection I reconect easily and the the circle begins I think they should pay back the cost of the game I know it’s only £9;95 but this sucks when you think how many tenners have they got in the bank.Brill game but can’t play I WANT MY MONEY BACK

when the BF:bad company demo first came out for the 360 i downloaded it , and the bought it. no problem at all, it never really lagged and it was fine. I happend to trade it in though and now , because im looking foward to bf:bad company 2 i tryed the demo (for BF: bad comp 1 ) agian and cant connect to EA online , i also cant get into ea online on dragon age: origins either. FFS ea clean ure act up.
I got Bad Company 2 for my birthday today. I played single player fine (and it’s effing awesome), but when I tried online, I connected to a game and started to run and then SERVER LOST? NOOOOO. I tried to connect again, but it’s been “Failed to connect to EA online” ever since! LAME!
Oh yeah, ALL of my other games connect fine, so it’s not me!
