Battlefield Bad Company 2 “Onslaught” mode released
Battlefield Bad Company 2 “Onslaught” mode has been finally released by Electronic Arts on PSN and Xbox Live for 800 MSP or $10.
Onslaught mode of BBC2 is a new co-op mode that is just like the “Special Ops” mode of Modern Warfare 2. Recently it was rumored that Onslaught mode will be released for free as the free map releases.
The Onslaught mode will give the players more bang for the buck than what the five maps of Modern Warfare 2 did at $15.
One more DLC pack is to come for BBC 2 as it has been announced earlier. This will be a Vietnam pack and it will be released by winter this year. This pack will be a multiplayer-only pack having new weapons, vehicles, maps and other unlocks.
New multiplayer expansion for Battlefield Bad Company 2 unveiled
The new multiplayer expansion for BBC2 has been confirmed by EA DICE and they also confirm that this expansion will place players in Vietnam War.
The multiplayer expansion is titled Vietnam and gamers will be able to fight as the North Vietnamese Army or the US Marines in skirmishes deep within the Vietnamese jungle.
Recently at the E3 conference of Electronic Arts the expansion was unveiled and the DLC will be featuring 4 new maps and all of these will be playable in all Battlefield modes. Even with the Rush and Conquest.
A “host of authentic vehicles and weapons” will be there in the DLC and also “powerful air ivasions and guerrilla tactics.” There will be expansion of hostile jungle terrain in the maps.
EA said that the Vietnam pack will hit the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC market this winter. Well, nothing was said about the pricing of the expansion.

Gamers can download the new Onslaught mode
Battlefield:Bad Company 2’s new downloadable content is reported to be adding co-op gameplay and moreover it will make easier to unlock the gear.
Henceforth gamers can download the new Onslaught mode for the game on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Yes, from June 22 onwards only.
This mode will be supporting up to 4 players and it will offer new challenges and achievements for the experienced as well as to those who are new to the game. This will cost $10.
Gamers who has only little time can get it at $7 per kit to unlock all the items. 20 bucks will be able to unlock the kits for every class.
Electronic Arts says that these cheats will be on sale from June 16 onwards on Xbox Live and via PSN it will be sold June 22 onwards.
Cooperative mode Onslaught getting released on June 22
The cooperative mode Onslaught of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be released by Electronic Arts studio DICE on June 22.
This downloadable mode will be coming on PS3 and Xbox 360 for $9.99.
Up to four players is featured in the cooperative matches with squads. Each of the squad is suppose to complete a series of objectives in this Onslaught mode.
This new mode will also have some new vehicles and some effects across 4 Bad Company 2 maps i.e. Atacama Desert, Nelson Bay, Isla Inocentes and Valparaiso.
It is reported that DICE is also releasing the Kit Shortcuts. Here the players can purchase to unlock some specific weapons and also some vehicle layouts.
Individual kit will cost $6.99. Players can even buy the whole bundle of kits for $19.99.
There has been yet no news as when the Onslaught will debut on PC.
